Although this is what many may imagine… This caramel recipe is not exactly what we call “ Grandma’s caramel ”. It is rather the result of many hours of pleasure shared between 2 best friends. Confidants and soul mates since the age of 12, imagine what they were able to create together! This recipe made with love, initially potted in “Bernardin” jars, was an excuse to bring Sonia and Marie-Pier together during the holiday season when they had two completely different lifestyles. Love, laughter and confidences shared in order to make up for lost time and take advantage of their cooking talents, their creative side, but above all, especially in order to please family members and their friends during the holiday celebrations.
