This spice blend is drawn from a grandmother’s notebook, from the village of Port-au-Persil in Charlevoix. This 19th century recipe contains 9 herbs and spices and, naturally, parsley. 

Grind the blend and add to your favorite meat pie filling, meatloaf or any other pork-based recipe.

Ingredients: white pepper, cinnamon, mace, parsley, allspice, marjoram, clove, celery, sage, bay leaf.
