A significant part of our values ??stems from a deep concern for the future of our country's endemic ingredients, and we are honored to present this highly prized heirloom chile from the central region of Veracruz.
When fresh, this chile is known locally as Chile Tres Lomos. After the harvest, which occurs once a year, the core and seeds are extracted one by one by hand, and then smoked using the traditional Totonacapan-Meridional method. This pre-Hispanic technique involves smoking the chiles at ground level for three days using wood from fruit trees such as guava and capulin.
Experiment with the level of spiciness to your liking, from a few drops to a full splash. This bitter is the perfect complement to add a warming sensation to your Negroni, Paloma, and Mezcal cocktails. It pairs beautifully with Rye Whiskey, Sotol, and most agave spirits.
Ingredients: Water, Mexican cane ethanol, Smoked heirloom chile. Processed in a facility that also processed wheat, milk, soy, peanuts, tree nuts and eggs.
